PMC DV FOX – EDT CL frame grabber with up to 220 MB/s data rates
The PMC DV FOX frame grabber by EDT provides high-resolution image capture for Camera Link cameras via fiber optic cable over long distances. One medium- or two base-mode cameras can be connected at distances up to 100 kilometers from the host computer, depending on your transceivers.
The PMC DV FOX pairs with one or more EDT RCX C-Link or RCX adapters to convert data from most camera types to fiberoptic. Alternately, this fiberoptic interface can be incorporated in the camera.
The compact board fits in any PMC bus. Images are captured and displayed in real time, and camera speed, resolution, and number of buffers are limited only by host bandwidth and memory.

Device drivers and SDK are included for Windows, Linux, and MacOS. Contact us about other operating systems. System must have a PMC bus, 66 MHz or faster (33 MHz will work, but at reduced data rates).
