Kaya Instruments “Predator” M.2 is a CoaXPress 2.1 frame grabber with M.2 form factor for laptops. It has 1 channel for 12.5 Gbps throughput and supports PCIe Gen2 with 2 lanes.
The Kaya Instruments “Predator II” CoaXPress 12G M.2 frame grabber supports the CoaXPress v2.1 standard. It receives video streams from a single CXP link. The link supports standard CoaXPress bitrates of up to 12.5 Gbps.
This frame grabber conforms to the compact M.2 standard and can easily receive video streams on the CoaXPress link and transmit them to computer memory through the PCIe interface. This M.2 frame grabber also provides an external GPIO for machine control signals, such as triggers, timers, shaft encoders, exposure control and general I/O which can be controlled besides video stream acquisition. This frame grabber uses standard Micro-BNC connectors as a CoaXPress interface to the camera. Host communication is via PCIe Gen2 x2 for video uploading and configuration.
