Kaya Instruments “Predator II” 1 Channel CLHS Frame Grabber

Kaya Instruments „Predator“ KY-FGPII-CLHS is a single-channel Camera Link High Speed frame grabber at 12.5G throughput. Host communication is via PCIe Gen2 with 4 lanes.

The Kaya Predator II is a low cost frame grabber that receives video streams over a single SFPT Fiber Transcend. The frame grabber supports standard CLHS bitrates up to 12.5 Gbps. This CLHS frame grabber is ideally suited for industrial, defense, and aerospace Machine Vision Systems applications.

The Predator II can easily receive video streams on the fiber link and transmit them to computer memory through the PCIe interface. This product also provides GPIO for machine control signals such as triggers, shaft encoders, exposure control, and general I/O, which can be controlled aside from the video stream acquisition.

The Predator II uses standard SFPT 10 Gbps transcend as an interface to the camera and standard D-sub Panel Mount connector for general purpose I/O. The frame grabber utilizes PCIe Gen2 x4 links for communication with the Host PC for video uploading and configuration.
