The Nallatech 250S runs a Xilinx Kintex KU060 FPGA (FFVA1156 in default configuration speed grade 2). It is a fully programmable, in-line storage, localized FPGA accelerator. This high performance PCIe 8-lane Gen-3-based flash SSD, has up to two M.2 NVMe SSDs and DDR4.

Applications include distributed compute algorithms and datacentric processing such as Checkpoint Restarting, Database Acceleration, Inline Compression, Inline Encryption, and Burst Buffer Caching.
